Micro Precision Calibration is an Accredited International Calibration Laboratory with 19 locations around the world. We are currently seeking a repair/RF calibration technician for our busy Richardson, TX location. Applicants must possess the following skills and experience: excellent computer, communication and phone skills, must be very experienced with Microsoft Windows and Office products and internet based applications. Must be able to follow directions and work well as a team member. Only applicants with at least 5 years of calibration/repair experience will be considered.  Must be able to calibrate both electronic and physical/dimensional test equipment, in addition to RF.  Full benefits package including 401(K) available after 6 months.  Submit resumes via email to [email protected]

In todays market for quality techs. Try first day of the month after 30 days or on first day. 6 months is not going to fly with anyone I know.

Sounds like they are looking for a technician that knows how to do pretty much everything also....

May be poorly written,I think they probably mean the benefits are immediate but the 401K is available after 6 months.  That's kind of a standard practice.

California divisions of MPC go by this:
At 6 months you are eligible for medical benefits.
At 1 year you are eligible for 401k w/ matching.
401k matching is complicated by "vesting contributions." Only after 6 years of employment will you have ownership rights to 100% of matching/employer contributions.
I don't know anything about Texas divisions.
