I went swimming in hurricane Irene--literally!! We went swimming in my sisyter's basement trying to fix the sump pump! Heck of a thing to do on vacation!!

It caused me to watch lots of news story about other people getting flooded... :evil:

One of my techs got stranded in Israel after the Glenn Beck Extravaganza as a result of so many flights being cancelled.

It kicked my ass.  Never seen a storm like this before.  Just got power back yesterday afternoon.  Trees everywhere, flooding....etc.

Truly sorry to hear that. If I was your neighbor I would be off with my chain saw helping you cut up the trees. I pray that you have good neighbors down there willing to pitch in and give you a hand.
