Just wondering if anyone has any brands they recommend? I am aquainted with WL Gore and Associates, they are pretty much the standard in my mind but that's a limited space. Anybody have any suggestions for alternatives?
Thanks
I can't think of the brand currently but I have some I've been using for a few years. Some coworkers acquired some "True Blue" cables. I am not sure of either brand.
True Blue is Teledyne Storm

In my experience, Gore cables are pretty darn good.
For PNA cables, unfortunately Agilent's aren't too bad. I know Anritsu has some metal shielded ones that we are/were looking at. I don't think the quality is supreme, but the repeatability is supposed to be out of this world, I think NIST uses them on their PNAs (ok, their 8510s), or so I have been told.
Other than that, I dunno...

Try Huber-Suhner cables www.hubersuhner.com or Megaphase cables www.megaphase.com
The other company is "insulated wire inc"
http://www.iw-microwave.com/
www.micro-coax.com is another RF Cable company.
The best price I have found on 3.5 mm M to M calbe 36 inches long, good to 26.5 GHz has been Gore cables.
David
second that with the Gore!!!!!
Gore Cables ...hands down.
I like MegaPhase cables. But, Gore cables are 1/2 the price of MegaPhase. And management is always trying to save a buck or two.
MagaPhase has the Quality but Gore has the better Price!
Does anybody have stock numbers (NSN) for 2 ft or 3ft N(m) to N(m) cables for Gore or Megaphase? Lot easier to get stock listed stuff.
