I've been through a few ISO audits and they are not to bad. Most of the auditors have not a clue of what you do, they just want to see your process. Now an A2LA audit sucks. The auditors are usually engineers that really know their crap. It's hard to bull crap them. All of them are usually members of NCSLI and have been in the business for a while. We have another A2LA audit next year and just finished one last fall. You guys that work in a A2LA accredited lab know what I am talking about.

I know what you mean. We have been accredited for 10 years with A2LA. My last assesment was fairly easy, I only had one ding to answer and that was for proprietory information. We have anothe assesment coming up this fall. I just can't wait to see who they throw at me this time. But really the A2LA assesments haven't been that bad, remember the assesors are there to help you. :-D
