Title: micrometers, calipers accuracy spescifications
Post by: farhan on 04-26-2011 -- 13:27:40
I always face that there is no general specification for the accuracy of different types micrometers or calipers specified in calibration procedures like (33k6-4-15-1 , 33k6-4-552-1 ), when the type of micrometer or caliper is not listed in AFCAV ,or manufacturer data are not availble, in older CAL.  T. O.  there is general accuracies for them according to their size but now didn't , new T. O.  tell me see table 1 for accuacy in AFCAV but if it is not listed what is the solution for these types.

my experience w/ AF PMEL, AVCAV and TO's is the OWNER is repsonsible for defining the accuracy or provide manufacturers data. Last revision of TO 33k100 I saw was 2004. The above statement was listed.
