http://www.tek.com/about/keithley.html

We are happy to announce that Keithley Instruments, Inc. is now officially part of the Tektronix family. Since the announcement of the transaction in late September, we have both received a great deal of positive feedback from our customers, employees and other stakeholders.

Keithley is an excellent cultural match for Tektronix. We are both established companies with a long heritage of innovation and commitment to enabling our customers' success. We believe that the combination of our two companies will accelerate our ability to provide leading-edge Test and Measurement solutions to our customers worldwide.

As the integration progresses, we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience. You can still visit the Keithley site directly for any of your requests, and can contact your Keithley representative for assistance. We look forward to continuing our tradition of exceptional customer service moving forward.

No disrespect (as I know people in various parts of the organization), but what's next?  I even had a conversation recently about the possibility of a company such as National Instruments being a potential target for acquisition (and I have no inside info).

On the more tongue-in-cheek side, maybe the term "Test Equipment" will be copyright protected by Danaher(??).

Hey, if "traceable" can be copywrited, why couldn't "test equipment"?

That would be like KIA copyrighting the words car manufacture. Danaher should worry more about the quality of the companies they buy.Tek and Fluke are no longer the rightous companies they once were.Sypris,Davis and Keithley are not exactly golden names in the test equipment buisness.

I think Rhode & Schwarz is pretty decent in moderation.  My exposure is somewhat limited but I have grown fond of the FSMR (Spec AN/Measuring Receiver)
