Calibration Technician
Our compliance services company is currently seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team of professionals in Andover or Devons, MA
The Calibration Technician will be responsible for testing, calibration & maintenance of electronic and mechanical process control and laboratory bench equipment in the Life Sciences industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Test, calibrate & repair precise mechanical and electronic devices
Maintain and repair tools and equipment
Entry of data into database software
Complete required documentation in a timely manner
Accurately perform protocols and work instructions
Uphold company values of precision and quality
Take initiative to improve quality
Work Relationships
Maintain amicable relations with co-workers, customers, and contractors
May assist Senior Calibration Technicians
May train incoming Apprentice Calibration Technicians
Job Requirements:
1-3 years calibration experience
Experience performing calibration activities in a laboratory setting
Familiar with common laboratory equipment including pressure gauges, chart recorders, scales, refrigerators, freezers, incubators, pH meters, conductivity meters, thermometers, thermocouples, RTDs, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of a typical ISO9000 quality system
Familiar with cGMP guidelines and best practices
Have a valid driver's license and transportation vehicle
Able to read, speak and write English
Excellent customer service skills
Capable of self-directed work
Capable of standing up to 6 hours a day
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Preferred experience:
Navy Nuclear training a plus
Armed services calibration training a plus

Hourly rate, full-time employees typically work 40 hours per week
