Title: 2602 series
Post by: calibr8tor on 08-02-2010 -- 19:33:38
This is for all the 2602 series calibrators out there.  Have any of you been changed over to the new 3378 series Precision Measurement Equipment Calibrating series yet? If so, is there any difference to you other than a series change? I never did like being called a mechanic when I was a 2602.

Not changed over yet. I agree about the mechanic thing.
For some odd reason they didn't seem to appreciate when I put stickers on the equipment indicating when the next oil change was due...

The supposed difference between a WG 11 and 12 in the new job description is a bit of a stretch though...particularly the BS about a 12 being capable of using "the full complement" of calibration equipment as opposed to an 11. Using that qualification, pretty much all of us should be 12s...it could happen...
