I have an agilent 34970a Data Acquisition unit that displays 742-746 errors upon start up. Looking at the user manual, it appears that the error is related to calibration memory of the unit. Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix these errors. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I'm working from memory here, but usually if there's a problem with the calibration memory on most Agilent products, if it can't be cleared up with a calibration procedure, usually the internal battery is either bad or low. I'm at home now, I'll check some of my information at work tomorrow and see if there's anything else I can find out. Good Luck

battery is supposed to last around 4 years.
Just to update my research. From what I can determine in my data, the best option I could suggest is to perform a complete calibration and restore the calibration corrections. If the errors appear again, I would look at replacing the internal battery and then re-calibration. The only other option I could suggest is an Agilent repair, sometimes the most expedious choice is a manufacturer repair. Hope this helps.
