Title: What is up with the SOC fuses?
Post by: ninjaginga on 04-01-2010 -- 16:48:50
So we have had alot of fuses come in that are SOC this or SOC that.  Right now I have a SOC TSC in hand.  As you know in the airforce we have know weather or not the fuse is fast blow or slow blow.

Has anyone ever found any information on these fuses as to which one they are? We can't find anything.  What chumps ordered these for the airforce and set us up for failure? Sheesh.

If you have found out any information about these fuses, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like SOC TSC fuses are inrush-withstand (I interpret that to be the same as slow blow).

You should be able to look the stock number up as well to see what specifications are assigned to that FSN. This is a good site to do that.  http://www.dlis.dla.mil/webflis/pub/pub_search.aspx

After you enter the stock number scroll down the page and make sure all the boxes are checked under "Output Selection Views".
