POSITION TITLE:                                Electronic Technician II

LOCATION:                                        Dover AFB, PMEL


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:           
           
1.   Minimum four (4) years experience in Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair, preferably in a military calibration lab.  Experience to include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE, metrology laboratory working standards and safe work practices/procedures.

2.   Completion of the Military metrology-training program or similar training.

3.   Good working knowledge of calibration and maintenance of K1, K8, K5, K3, K4 TMDE; consisting of the following: PRT/SPRT, Thermocouples, Power Supplies, High Voltage, Microwave devices, Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Sensors, Fiber Optics, Sound pressure level, Light Intensity and general purpose TMDE.

4.   Possesses the knowledge required to read and analyze block, schematic, wiring and logic diagrams.

5.   Ability to troubleshoot and repair non-functioning TMDE.

POSITION TITLE:                                Physical-Dimensional PMEL Technician

LOCATION:                                        Dover AFB


BASIC REQUIREMENTS:           
           
6.   Minimum four (4) years experience in Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair, preferably in a military calibration lab.  Experience to include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE, metrology laboratory working standards and safe work practices/procedures.

7.   Completion of the Military metrology training program or similar training.

8.   Good working knowledge of calibration and maintenance of K6 TMDE; consisting of the following: Pressure, Force, Mass, Optics, Linear Measurements, Air Flow, and Temperature.  Including use and calibration of Gage Blocks, calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, thread gages.

9.   Possesses the knowledge required to read and analyze block, schematic, wiring and logic diagrams, and blue prints.

10.   Ability to troubleshoot and repair non-functioning TMDE.

Position:                     Scheduler
Location:                    Dover AFB

Scheduling Summary: Plans, schedules and organizes maintenance of Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Documents and maintains TMDE records.  Monitors TMDE maintenance scheduling effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Schedules customer TMDE.  Develops plans and establishes schedules to meet mission requirements.  Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports using PMEL Automated Maintenance System (PAMS).  Ensures customer forecasts and customer masters are sent to customers on time.  Coordinates with base activities to ensure support is available to meet schedules.  Notifies customers daily when TMDE is overdue calibration.  Notifies customers daily when customer TMDE is ready for pickup.  Coordinates with supervisors and commanders when TMDE is not brought to PMEL in a timely manner.  Maintains customer master information in PAMS.  Loads all new TMDE into PAMS.  Maintains work center information in PAMS.  Creates and maintains Owning Work Center files.

Ensures PMEL Site Manager is aware of any limiting maintenance and production capabilities due to scheduling factors.

Prepares all documentation and packaging to ship TMDE for off base support.  Knowledge of Air Force packing and shipping requirements necessary.  Must be able to prepare DD form 1149 shipping documentation.

Prepares and teaches TMDE Monitor/Coordinator classes.
Specialty Qualifications:  Must have extensive knowledge of the PMEL Automated maintenance System.

Knowledge. Extensive knowledge of Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program requirements.  Thorough knowledge of Air Force T.O. 00-20-14 and Air force T.O. 33K-1-100-1
