Post by: WestCoastCal on 11-23-2009 -- 10:51:20
Its a great looking job, working with not only the metrology lab and MudCats software team, but also the different machine, test, transformer and motor shops to ensure programmatic compliance.  Let the "I hate california" discussions begin!!!

Is there are limit to the number of posts for a given topic.
I have a feeling the "I hate California" discussion is going to be long..

I will start
I hate their high taxes.. And as a state they are broke, So what do they plan to do.. Tax Small Business.  It is an election year so they can't just raise taxes.  So they pass the buck..  I hear they are telling business they have to pay 75% of their taxes in the first quarter of the year.  I am sure glad I don't live there..

Hate on Cali but people are willing to pay half a mil for a shack for a reason.  Having been stationed in San Diego County twice, i will tell you it is awesome there.  of course as a military person, i didn't pay taxes to cal and didn't have to pay crazy rent like the people who were stationed in the OC.

CA is hated by the rest of the US in the same manner the world hates the US.  Speaking for most of the state the weather and scenery are unbeatable.  Yes the cost of living is higher, but for us who enjoy where we live it's worth every extra penny we pay.  I live northeast of Sac and it's clear and sunny. . . sunshine tax hard at work! The only thing that really sucks is that it's 'only' 62 degrees outside. . . brrrrrr.  But please, by all means, keep up the negative press. . . you're only doing us a favor.
