Beautiful campus with many services on site, gym, stores, eateries. sports teams, etc. I know some of the techs up there and also several of the bosses. they are all good people and extremely competent.
Campus? what am i missing here?
I don't know how many they employ now, but they were up to 4,000, multiple buildings and had three shuttle buses. I've been told to avoid Drug companies because they are only as good as their last approved drug and things can change quickly.
The cost of living there is quite high around Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park despite the real estate prices dropping. Most people commute at least 30 minutes to somewhat afforable housing.
A question I have is where does one get a BS in Metrology?
Education/Licenses:
B. S. degree in Engineering, or Metrology
Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Experience with Maxim and/or MudCats
The closest thing I have found, and I have been looking for some time, is the BSQA w/ measurement science option from Cal State, Domingez Hills.
Try this site..they have a small listing of schools with degrees..
