ERC is seeking a Metrology/Calibration Technician III for its Huntsville, AL location. Candidate will be tasked with working in a team environment and should be able to troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all facets of test and measurement equipment. Experience in physical/dimensional metrology is a plus. Assist in writing and validating calibration procedures. Maintain maintenance data for all equipment requiring calibration. Must be able to meet Laboratory Quality requirements. Must be able to determine equipment uncertainties.
Strong interpersonal skills. Valid drivers license required. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with ANSI/NCSL Z540.1 requirements. Must have normal color vision. Must be able to present proof of previous metrology experience as well as any previous training certificates and records. A technical evaluation may be performed prior to employment.
Formal military training in metrology a plus. Applicant shall have attended a formal DoD metrology school or obtained an Associates Degree in an applied science. Applicant shall have 8 to 10 years of metrology experience. Apply online at www.erc-incorporated.com. EOE/M/F/D/V
