International Logistics Group, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business located in Warner Robins, GA (Home of Robins Air Force Base/Warner Robins Air Logistics Center) will be holding a job fair for an upcoming Robins AFB PMEL Contract we are pursuing. This contract is currently held by Kay & Associates.
The job fair will be held October 18th, 2008 from 9AM-3PM at 205 Dental Drive, Suite 14, Warner Robins, GA 31088. I heard Kay & Associates was teaming with ENV Services to go after that contract at Robins.
I was at Kelly AFB, San Antonio in the 70's. We had a union and was the only thing that made the wages and benefits ok.
The retired AF lab chief hated it. But, the waged and benefits were a lot better than what the government contract called for.

Oh I see the RFP was amended today too while I was posting to that other post. Maybe they took out something good. I hope they put black bars in the margin so us folk know where to pay attention.

edit: from what I can tell the magical 120 that was in there before is now 140. I'm guessing that is to allow what is overdue to come in. Though whoever bids should ask it to be modified such that they don't allow them to put a whole months input in on one day then worry about "delinquent" items. If a one day input is 300 and your average output is 140 and at the end of the month you come in more than 10% under the average number you would get screwed unless that situation is covered elsewhere.
I hope these are work days not calendar days (edit they are not: "stated otherwise, all turn-around times are expressed in calendar days.")
"All calibration/repair work not assigned a priority code. Normal turn-around time for routine TMDE is 7 days and 10 days if selected for a quality review (QR)."
Based on that wording the next contractor should establish a seven day a week schedule with two shifts or something. I think this is written to screw the contractor.
