Has anyone seen this error on a 3458A? I'm working one right now and want to be sure I'm not overlooking something simple.
The self-test failed and based on the above error, I swapped the A/D board (A3) with a presumably good board. It is still failing the self test.
Thanks in advance.
Also,
"Error 114: multislope rundown convergence"
turned into
"Error 114: balanced rundown convergence"
Never mind, something simple...timing oscillator is not timing.
Hi msrichmond
Please, could you write a step-by-step how did you do to solve this problem?
Thank you so much!
One odd, stupid issue we run into periodically is that some users have them installed in testers that require them to run on 220VAC. We occasionally get a 3458A that gets odd errors that aren't real due to we power them with 115VAC, and their rear input voltage switch is set to 220V. May not be your issue, but never hurts to check that. Especially if you support semiconductor related customers who use them in testers.
I checked this and its all right...
but keeping "Err" on display yet and in few minuters the display freeze!
Sorry for my english, I'm Brazilian! can you understand what i wrote?
Thank you again!
