Hi everyone,
I was a PMEL tech at Castle AFB from 83 to 87. . . . any of you guys still around?
The reason for the post: We are currently looking for a tech, check it out:
http://www.mil-media.com/employment.html
It's a great place to work
If you are into audio, this is the place!
Jay
I tried your link and got nada? Can you double check it a verify that it is correct? Also can you post a salary range for that job? Or maybe send me a private message with the range if you do not feel comfortable posting it?
http://www.mil-media.com/employment.html I fixed the link in original post.
I have made it where a user has to have 10 posts in order to correctly post links. (spamming protection) It should work now.
I was at Castle....but it was in 93-94. Care to send me info on this position..(benefits, salary range, etc)
Is it mostly K-3 type work? Should a K-6 lifer bother to apply? Where exactly is the site? It looks like Grass Valley or Auburn from the photo.
The job is above Placerville, near Sly Park. A few miles off of HWY 50
As far as salary and perks, you'll need to contact
joel@mil-media. com.
K1-K3. . . . it's all audio type of stuff. . . . tubes and solidstate.
We build top end recording equipment.
Troubleshooting chops are a must, other than that, its laid back and pretty easy work.
We're looking for someone with chops, that really knows what they are doing when it comes to working on circuits. . . . .
I won't pat myself on the back too much- but PMEL techs operate at a higher level than any other techs I've worked with the past 25 years. . . . . we just seem to do a better job. This company is known world wide and very respected-some say we make the best gear out there, so we're being kind of picky as to whom we hire.
This would be great for a musician, or someone that is into high end audio.
For someone wanting out of the city and into a more rural country setting at a bit of a slower pace, this is the ticket.
If you have any more questions that I can help with, you can email me here at jay@mil-media. com
Thanks for looking, guys.
Jay
