Responsibilities:
Performs troubleshooting, repair maintenance, calibration, and certification on Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) applying engineering techniques. Troubleshoots and isolates malfunctions to TMDE. Repairs, modifies and performs equipment maintenance on TMDE. Calibrates, adjusts and certifies TMDE to conform to tolerances or users' requirements. Compiles, processes, reduces, and analyzes test data and results. Initiates, validates and maintains all required PMEL documentation. Practices good housekeeping, tool control, and safety at all times. Shall perform other duties related to the assigned work center, to include limited travel. Annotates maintenance actions in appropriate forms.
Requirements:
The successful applicant must have 8+ years experience and knowledge and skills related to:
• Provides subject matter expertise in assigned measurement area
• Supervises / mentors junior technicians
• Naval Aviation Support Equipment Calibration
• Navy Calibration Procedures and Calibration Standards
• GPETE Calibration and Repair
• Familiarity with Interrelationships of Circuits
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
Education:
High School diploma and relevant Military Metrology/Calibration or Technical School Training
Clearance:
Must be eligible for Secret Clearance
