I have been doing some repairs to my 4708, in doing so I have designed and built an extender card set for the Datron 4XXX series calibrators.

It's a two card solution that covers all eight big cards. I have not yet worked out the cable extensions needed for the PA card cables for when the PA card is on the extender. I am going to look at possibly doing a breakout board for extending the cables and probing lines.

Photos of the extender card in action with the Digital/CPU card extended can be emailed on request. As you can see the extender card flips the Datron card 180 degrees to allow probing of the test points on the card. It also allows direct probing of component pads and leads using the component views in the manual. Each edge connector line has a probe hook for scope or meter probes, all 120 of them!

If you are interested in purchasing a set or have questions please drop me an email.
