Looking for a senior repair technician with extensive PMEL calibration and repair credentials.  6-12 years of work experience in K1 (General Purpose) through K4 (RF/Microwave) and K8 (DC/Electrical Standards) equipment areas is mandatory, with concentrated experience in K3 (Frequency) and K4 sections a plus.  Must have intimate knowledge of signal generators, oscilloscopes, scalar/vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, frequency counters, power supplies, power meters, power sensors, function generators, step attenuators, audio analyzers, BER testers, amplifiers, pulse generators, LCR meters, time domain reflectometers, etc..

Daily tasks include repair of general purpose, specialized, RF/microwave, low frequency, DC, and fiber optic test equipment. Analog/digital circuit analysis and component level troubleshooting; with, or without manufacturer documentation and support. Part replacement research for repair of units abandoned by original manufacturers. Proficiency with soldering through hole and surface mount components.  Rework test equipment structural chassis alignment as a result of shipping damage.  Quickly determine feasibility and cost of repair versus unit's book value.  Provide laboratory support of ISO 17025 accreditation and operation.

The Raleigh-Durham area consistently ranks as one of the best places to live in the US.  Relocation expenses will be considered for the qualified candidate.  See https://www.microlease.com/us/about_careers for more information and forward resumes to patricia.alcala@microlease.com
