I don't know anything specific about a Transcat lab in Pittsburgh.  I noticed they're looking for a technician in  Boston.  The pay was listed as $22-$26 an hour.  That's barely ok for Boston if you're young and single.  It's a joke if you're married with children and/or have a lot of experience.  Boston is expensive.  If that's what they're paying in Boston, I imagine it would be less in Pittsburgh.
