Title: Shipping Associate

Reports to: Quality Director
Department: Operations
Location:  Oklahoma City, OK
Position Directly Supervises:  None

Job Purpose:
To assemble orders and prepare items such as tools and equipment for shipment, document preparation, computer processing and arranging for transportation to ensure accurate and timely delivery for customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
   Retrieves completed items/equipment from all labs. 
   Obtains and reviews calibration documents and ensures each completed item is accompanied with the appropriate calibration certificate.
   Collects all related paperwork and packages with correct items/equipment.
   Packages items/equipment safely and securely, such as, placing a protectant wax on all items that require protection and ensuring thread rings adjustment screws are sealed.
   Ships completed work orders according to appropriate shipping standards and procedures. 
   Completes paper work/processes to accurately close out work orders.
   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related results as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:
   Experience and understanding with shipping processes and procedures
   Experience and knowledge of online shipping programs, preferably UPS and FedEx
   Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook and willingness to learn new programs as required
   Strong time management and multitasking skills
   Ability to coordinate continuous improvements efforts
   Filing and accurate data entry
   Climbing, balancing, stopping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
   Ability to sit and/or stand for extending periods
   Able to periodically lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
   Must be able to maintain a clean and clutter-free work area for the safety of all employees
   Good verbal/written communication skills
   Dependable, accurate, detail oriented and self-motivated
   Forklift certification is a plus
