Calibration Laboratory Technician III

Aerojet, www.aerojet.com, is a major space and defense contractor specializing in missile and space propulsion, and defense and armaments. Aerojet is seeking to fill a Calibration Technician III position at our Redmond, WA location.

You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibrating all mechanical or electronic fixtures, instruments and systems used in testing products. Must be able to maintain fixtures and complete the documentation of the procedures. Support engineers as needed.

Must have an AA degree in electronics or equivalent military education, e.g. completion of military Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) school. 5 years minimum experience in Metrology. Ability to operate all types of mechanical or electronic test equipment in performing troubleshooting and repair duties. Devise calibration methods, equipment set-ups and write procedures as required. The technician should be familiar with and follow the requirements of ANSI-Z-540, ISO 17025, and other standard metrology practices.

Location: Redmond, WA


Duration: 120 - 180 Days
