I am the PMEL Manager for the contractor (L-3 Communications Vertex) at Sheppard AFB, TX.   I am looking for 2 technicians with very strong K1-K8, K3-K4 and/or Physical Dimensional section experience using Air Force Calibration procedures.   You must be able to calibrate and maintain the main standards as well as the less accurate TMDE in these areas.  In order to apply you must go to the following address:  www.L-3com.com   then select "careers" then "job search".   If you put in Wichita Falls, Texas or Sheppard AFB in the job search entry options, the job posting for the PMEL Tech II position should come up.   Select "submit your application".   Please offer as much information as possible and be specific about what you can calibrate and maintain.   This will be seen first by the Program Manager (my boss) and then forwarded to me.   The pay is between 27 and 28.00 per hour plus benefits.   There is a collective bargaining agreement in place.   Please apply, all resumes will be reviewed.
