Lowry schoolhouse 1980-'81, typical back and forth CONUS-USAFE. Left PMEL in 1998 under threats of outsourcing and Saudi rotations. Flew the GPS satellites in Colorado Springs until retired in 2000. Now living in Australia.
Really enjoy the website- I always thought something like this could've been beneficial to the worldwide PMEL community.....a way to share knowledge, tricks of the trade and experiences.

I spent 14 years in PMEL before going to OTS. I still interface with the lab and old friends. It is a very important business for DOD but so well organized that it gets little attention unless something goes wrong. You guys impact the world much more than you know. I'm now an Aircraft Maintenance Officer with PMEL/TMDE roots. My techncial training is extremely valuable and will forever be a part of my career.
