**This is a 6 month contract to hire role with a company east of Columbus, OH.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or related experience.  Broad knowledge and experience with Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMEL) and Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) support issues. Minimum 5 years’ experience in training program development and management; Knowledge of training theory, methods and practices, 5 years metrology related training. Knowledge of Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory operation, organization and capabilities. Minimum 3 years’ experience interacting with technical customers having diverse support needs. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to qualify for or have successfully completed a National Agency Check Investigation within the last ten (10) years.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Responsible for the development and coordination of training programs to fulfill needs for AFPSL.  Document training requirements for each employee, develop training plans consistent with contract needs, and recommend training that improves and enhances AFPSL capabilities. Researches sources for basic, intermediate and advanced metrology training and arranges for employee attendance as approved by upper management. As the Customer Service Representative, acts as the first point of contact for customers’ technical questions.  Must be able to evaluate the problems and determine the best course of action to successfully assist the customer in resolving issues.
