Fox Valley Metrology is the leader in Full Service Calibration. We provide calibration support of precision measurement and test equipment to a diverse manufacturing base including, but not limited to: Defense, Aerospace, Medical, Semiconductor and Fortune 500 manufacturing organizations. In addition to performing calibration in several technical disciplines (Electrical, Physical/Dimensional, Force, Torque and Pressure) all calibration data and records are maintained internally utilizing our proprietary Supreme Metrology software.  We are currently looking for a talented Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator based in the Oshkosh, WI area.  This is a full-time, permanent position with first and second shift opportunities available.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
1) Operate and program CMM to perform calibration of test and measurement equipment and/or inspect customer parts.
2) Complete applicable documentation related to assignments. 
3) Actively participates in a team environment.   Communicate via e-mail, voice mail, instant message, etc.
4) Ensure all required business tasks are completed in a timely and quality manner.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICAITONS:
1) 2+ years of relevant experience in the operation of a CMM or equivalent CNC experience.
2) Basic knowledge of statistics and/or CPK studies. 
3) Working knowledge of functional gages.
4) Understanding of metrology principles including measurement of uncertainty.
5) A working knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
6) PC skills Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word experience. 
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Formal training in Metrology or Inspection.
2) Associates degree in Mechanical Design or CNC/Tool and Die Technologies
3) A working knowledge of Calypso Software is advantageous
4) Machine shop experience
5) ASQ certifications
6) Knowledge of ISIR or FAI inspection reporting
