We service a wide variety of central Texas customers across many industries, which requires a broad cross section of skills (often combinations of RF, DC/LF and physical/Dimensional). Ideal candidate should have completed military calibration (PME/TMDE) training or equivalent, and have a minimum of 10+ years combined military and industry calibration experience. Experience in a quality focused commercial laboratory and customer on-site background are both a plus.  Candidate should have experience processing calibration documentation, and using calibration automation software. Desirable added skills include working in ISO17025 Accredited lab, use of MetCal, SureCal or other automated calibration software, and use of MS Excel/MS Word. Candidate should have good analytical skills, good understanding of electronic theory, and the ability perform basic calculations (such as Ohmís Law).

Pay is competitive based on level of experience and negotiable, with good benefits.

Austin is a great place to live and one of the fastest growing metro areas because of that. South By South West each year, Live music capital of the world, Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 Racetrack (with many more events).

This is an active opening that we seek to fill with the right candidate.  If interested, send your resume to RESUME@TESCOMUSA.COM .  Or send questions to that email address, or you may PM me through this website.

I used to work for one of y'alls competitors... JDSU (formerly Acterna)
I'm half tempted to apply, but me being in Houston is an inhibiting factor.

I'm well acquainted with Austin. I lived in South Austin from 1996 till 2004. My son was born at St. David South. I worked on a masters in Industrial Tech @Texas State in San Marcos. I have a brother who has lived in Austin area for over 30 years.
But I need to stay in the area I currently live in because of my 16 y/o son is a STEM dual enrollment program down here. And he depends on my "logistical help" in being in the right place in the right time.

His high school (La Porte H.S.) calls it ACE  (Accelerated College Education), the college San Jacinto College
calls it the "Early College High School Program".  It is very hard to transfer into the program from other schools.
